Pathology affecting the suprasellar cisternis varied in paediatric neuroradiologypractice. Although MRI is theimaging modality of choice for lesionsof the suprasellar cistern, abnormalitiescan be detected on CT withknowledge of the normal anatomyand a sound approach to the possiblepathological entities. We present ourapproach to pathology affecting thesuprasellar cistern and highlight thisusing various cases seen at our institutionin the recent past.
